Created by the same design team behind Paperblanks plus the talented German book binder Nadine Werner, Paper-Oh notebooks are a reflection of our passion for design and a desire to take the everyday notebook to the next level.
High-Quality Paper
Sourced from 100% sustainable forests, our cream-coloured paper is uncoated, unbleached and run through an additional press to make it satisfyingly smooth. All Paper-Oh notebooks are offered lined or unlined, with the option of a grid interior in the Cahiers.
Lightweight
Not only are Paper-Oh notebooks durable and design-conscious, they also do not contain binder boards, making them extremely lightweight!
Lay-Flat Binding
Our innovative spine scoring technique allows our Paper-Oh book blocks to lie completely flat when opened. For the Cahiers, which do not use a book block, the single signature is sewn, not stapled, allowing for maximum flexibility.
Durable Binding
In order to make Paper-Oh notebooks more flexible, they have been Smyth sewn with minimal glue along the spine. For our Cahiers, we’ve developed an innovative “jump sewn” technique to avoid showing the threads on the exterior of the book.
Magnetic Flap
Available in select notebooks, Paper-Oh magnetized, fold-over flaps not only protect the page edges but are highlighted by the satisfying *snap* the magnets create when connected.
Double-Layered Covers
We work with layers of paper for our cover designs. We score, emboss and perforate these covers, offering a creative and tactile canvas from the inside out. Your experience doesn’t end with the visual impact, as Paper-Oh also excites the sense of touch.
Flexi Page Marker
Never lose your spot again! The scored markings on our Flexi Page Marker allow for multiple pages to be flagged at once (horizontally or vertically), and with one peel of the sticker it can also be attached permanently to the notebook.
